School of Sound & Vision

The School of Sound & Vision at Glow Hall is a place where students learn by making—through music, photography, and film projects that prioritize play, collaboration, and personal voice.
We’re a progressive “unschool” of music, art, and design, where we value passion over perfectionism, and experiences over expertise. Our classes in band, photography, and video give young artists the tools to express themselves, focusing on process, curiosity, and connection instead of rigid technique.
Our philosophy centers student-led education that lets kids build their own passions in their own ways. All our programs meet students where they are, encouraging exploration at every level. We don’t spend much time on theory or rote practice. We play music, make art, and love doing it!
