Group Drums

A weekly drum class focused on the foundations of indie rock drumming — rhythm, timing, groove, and playing with others.

We’ll break down patterns, talk coordination and dynamics, and use drum machines to visualize beats and play along. No drum set required, but bring your own if you have one!

Christopher Keener

Christopher Keener is Glow Hall’s owner, and the counselor-in-charge at our progressive School of Sound & Vision. He’s a career musician born of the infamous indie and punk scenes of Missouri and Chicago, and a photographer and film artist trained at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he later taught sculpture and photography. His pedagogy is rooted in play and excitement, exploring music and the arts in a way that fosters creativity, confidence, and joy.
