LONG LIVE GLOW HALL
Build the audience. Build lasting support.
I am seeking $35,000 to fund a six-month trial of a Marketing, Fundraising & Community Partnerships Manager at Glow Hall.

I want one accountable person to grow attendance, recurring support, sponsorships and profitable private events, while keeping grant applications and reporting on track. The role would strengthen the existing venue through work that can be measured and funded.
| Funding request | Trial period | Working capacity |
|---|---|---|
| $35,000 | 26 weeks | 25 hours/week |
The trial stands on its own. It funds marketing, fundraising, partnerships and event sales at Glow Hall. My cafe expansion is a separate proposal with its own capital and staffing budget.
I own 100% of Arcadian Club, LLC, doing business as Glow Hall. Our premises are leased. I welcome underwriting, a documented loan or a negotiated investment; the financial rights for this standalone proposal would be agreed before funding.
Prepared October 14, 2026. Future figures are planning illustrations, not committed income or guaranteed returns.
One role. Several paths to income.
I want the manager to develop the whole support base, with clear priorities and protected working hours.
| Weekly responsibility | Hours |
|---|---|
| Audience marketing | 7 |
| Donor/member development and retention | 5 |
| Community sponsors and partnerships | 4 |
| Grant coordination | 3 |
| Private-event sales and coordination | 4 |
| Measurement and reconciliation | 2 |
| Total modeled paid hours | 25 |
I would approve budgets, creative direction, major contracts and funding commitments. The manager would own campaign schedules, follow-up, the sponsor and rental pipeline, grant deadlines and performance records.
The practical work
I want accurate event listings, coordinated performer promotion, segmented email and useful social content; clear recurring-support offers; defined sponsor benefits; timely qualified applications; and profitable rental bookings with appropriate delivery budgets.
I would choose two priority growth channels each quarter and review actual time at 30 and 90 days. Production shifts, cafe coverage and unlimited event delivery are outside these 25 hours. Delivery labor is priced separately.
A fully costed six-month trial.
I propose $22 gross hourly base pay, plus a 10% commission on eligible new private-rental contribution after direct delivery costs.
| Six-month use | Amount |
|---|---|
| Base wages: $22 x 25 hours x 26 weeks | $14,300 |
| 16% employer-cost planning allowance | $2,288 |
| Marketing: $750/month | $4,500 |
| Tools: $100/month | $600 |
| Recruitment and setup | $1,500 |
| Contingency and runway | $11,812 |
| Total initial funding | $35,000 |
Ongoing cost after the trial
Base wages and employer allowance total $33,176 annually. With $9,000 marketing and $1,200 tools, recurring fixed cost is $43,376 a year, or $3,614.67 per month, before earned rental commissions. The $1,500 setup cost is not repeated.
| One illustrative new rental | Amount |
|---|---|
| Collected hire fee / direct delivery costs | $600 / $100 |
| Contribution before commission | $500 |
| 10% commission / 16% allowance on commission | $50 / $8 |
| Retained toward the role and venue | $442 |
The 16% allowance is a planning estimate; health insurance is not included. Gift and grant work is paid through base wages. Commission applies to agreed commercial rentals, not donations or grants. Attribution, refunds, repeat business and payment timing would be documented before hiring.
What the role must generate.
I evaluate the full mix of incremental contribution, rather than making rental bookings the only measure of success.
| Monthly activity | Cautious | Mixed | Stronger |
|---|---|---|---|
| New rentals at $600 | 2 | 4 | 6 |
| Extra paid guests at 8 existing shows | 10/show | 20/show | 30/show |
| New active donors at $15/month | 20 | 40 | 60 |
| New active members at $20/month | 15 | 30 | 45 |
| New sponsors at $250/month | 1 | 3 | 5 |
| Retained contribution | $1,933.50 | $4,084.50 | $6,235.50 |
| After full recurring role cost | ($1,681.17) | $469.83 | $2,620.83 |
These are additional paying accounts and attributable ticket purchases, not current customer counts. Each rental retains $442; an extra $15 paid admission retains $3.50 after a 70% artist share and $1 variable-cost allowance. Gifts retain 97%; memberships and sponsors retain 87% after modeled fees and benefits. Grants and added concessions are excluded.
Role coverage and venue sustainability
The mixed illustration covers the role but leaves $732.49 of the historical monthly venue gap uncovered. The stronger illustration leaves $1,418.51 after that gap. Q3 2026 shows a $1,202.33 monthly gap including estimated cash receipts; excluding those estimates gives $1,990.33. Those are historical comparisons, not a current cash forecast.
Founder working pay is separate from this $35,000 budget. I would fund it through the broader plan or a separate approved agreement; it is not included in these role-only results.
Evidence before renewal.
I would review progress at 90 days and decide at six months using reconciled results and the next 90 days of usable funding.
| Checkpoint | Work and decision |
|---|---|
| Days 1-30 | Establish attendance, contribution and supporter baselines; approve offers, records, grant calendar and attribution. |
| Days 31-90 | Run measured campaigns, invite recurring support, develop sponsors and rentals, and submit complete qualified applications. Review contribution, retention, workload and cash. |
| Days 91-150 | Strengthen the best channels, renew support and sponsorships, complete reporting and build the next-quarter funding plan. |
| Days 151-180 | Review actual net contribution, obligations and credible funding. Continue the role or complete an orderly handoff. |
The opening ramp is part of the risk
The original six-month mixed ramp retains $13,103.80 against $23,188 of fixed trial uses, including setup. It consumes $10,084.20 of trial funding before other venue needs. Month six reaches $469.83 after recurring role cost, but the final three months together remain negative by $668.85.
I would count received support only for its permitted purpose and period. Pending applications, pledges, gross ticket revenue and restricted funds assigned elsewhere cannot fund this role automatically. Any remaining trial funds stay subject to funding terms and existing obligations.
A clear role for your capital.
I would like to agree the funding structure and the contribution you want to make to this stage of Glow Hall.
| Funding structure | What we would agree |
|---|---|
| Underwriting or sponsorship | Use of funds, reporting and any recognition or benefits. This support does not promise ownership or repayment. |
| Loan | Interest, maturity, payments, security, guarantees if any, and priority under a funded cash plan. The trial illustration does not establish a fixed repayment schedule. |
| Ownership investment | Investment price, ownership interest, reporting, decision rights and distributions through signed company and investment agreements. No percentage is assigned to the $35,000 trial in this proposal. |
Your participation
You could help with commercial oversight, introductions to employers and arts supporters, sponsor development or a defined advisory role. I would provide monthly receipts-and-cost reporting, campaign and pipeline results, and the 90-day and six-month reviews. Any paid operating role would have separate duties and compensation.
I propose to defer repayment of my verified founder financing until recovery of agreed new investment capital, subject to our signed terms and creditor rights. Operating obligations, approved pay, taxes and required reserves come before distributions. The separate $210,000 partnership proposal offers 49% only at full package funding; those terms do not automatically apply to this stage.
